The Hornell Police Department K9 Unit is dependent on the community for the continuance and furtherance of the program. The cost of any K9 program is significant, and ours in no exception. We utilize a great deal of specialized equipment, and attend extensive state - mandated training to maintain our ability to deploy. Your generous support allows the K9 Program to fund the purchase of our K9's as well as specialized field equipment and K9-specific vehicle enhancements, veterinary expenses, and annual training and certification expenses.
